How to Use Silicone Molds, Cookie Cutters and Other Cake Decorating Supplies for Making Treats for a Unicorn Party
We all know how super popular unicorns are. Millions of little girls want unicorns to be their birthday party theme. Luckily, there are loads of decorations available that make creating a perfect unicorn party super easy. But one important thing to also consider is party food that fits the theme. Can’t just have some boring food at a super exciting and elaborate unicorn birthday party.
Here are some ideas for preparing treats for your little girl’s unicorn party.
Unicorn Horn Wafer Cones
Buy some wafer cones. Dip them into white or pink melted chocolate and then into colourful sprinkles to match your party theme. Place them upside down on a table to look like unicorn horns.
Using unicorn shaped cookie cutters, bake some simple butter cookies and decorate them as you desire – glaze them, add sprinkles or make more detailed fondant decorations on them. If you don’t have unicorn shaped cookie cutter in hand, you can also bake simple round or square shaped cookies, and use some unicorn silicone molds, to make the decorations on top of the cookies.
Unicorn Cake Topper
Using unicorn silicone molds and either marzipan, chocolate or fondant, you can easily make unicorn cake topper and edible figurines. You can colour your cake topper with your favourite food colours, or just use the colours to match the theme of the party.
Rainbow Fruit Tray
Buy a variety of fruits to get all the colours of the rainbow, such as raspberries, strawberries, orange, mango, banana, kiwifruit, green grapes, blueberries, and purple grapes. Place them into rainbow shape and add mini marshmallows at the both ends of the rainbow to look like clouds.
